Introducing Our Family

If you stopped by our family property on a warm summer day, you might easily find our children down by the river, splashing on the dock or paddling their canoes, wandering through the pasture to tend to heritage livestock, or disappearing into the woods to build a fort or climb a tree. Fresh produce may be gathered from the garden, a carriage hitched for a countryside ride, and puppies tumbling through the grass at the heels of their favorite child, with their whimsical little Havanese companions endearingly tagging along wherever they go.

Every day is an adventure of connection at Bramble Field. We value the natural bond between humans, animals, and nature, and recognize we thrive best when living in harmony together.

We are Anne and Terry Meyer, and we work as a team to ethically breed and nurture Registered Havanese dogs. Our family life and children are an important part of each puppy's preparation; the sights, sounds, movements, and wonderful unpredictability of childhood are gently woven into the tapestry of puppyhood. We snuggle, strategically and skillfully socialize, and get to know each puppy as an individual.

Our goal is to give each puppy a thoughtful, holistic beginning - one that builds confidence, skills, and real-life experiences, preparing them to step naturally into family life. We nurture each puppy with careful intention and an ethical, relationship-focused approach, establishing beautiful Havanese companions and therapy dogs.

Our years of raising, training, and living alongside horses and Havanese have given us decades of experience with animals and a deep appreciation for the relationships we build with them.
